“ Yelp's mobile UX gives me a migraine. Anyway I'm sure I've reviewed it before but I'll add this. I always get the Andhra Spicy Thali or Non-Spicy Thali, and ask for ghee for my gunpowder chutney. This is my favorite Indian restaurant in the whole bay. ”
“ So let me tell you this place is freaking busy as heck and it's the best South Indian food. You will have one of the best for sure in Bay Area actually an entire California and Suresh part of the management group. Wow the service he provides is awesome. ”
“ Veg / Vegan review Hands down the best Indian food in the Bay Area. Phenomenal food Absolutely love it The food is so delicious, homely, isn't oily to too spicy, priced well, the service is amazing (super sweet folks), decent ambience. - Non-spicy thali - 5/5 - Idiappam - 5/5 - Navratri Thali - 5/5 If you're vegan replace the yogurt and avial with another dish and ask them to not add ghee to anything. Check the dessert of the day as it may contain ghee. ”
“ Typically two rules I follow for a south Indian restaurant visit. (Pls note, my rules don't apply to North Indian restaurants) Rule #1 Be the first to enter when they open Rule #2 Avoid dinner. Many restaurants tend to recycle items from lunch to dinner, I understand their reasons to do so. I followed both the rules in this case Hence here is my disclaimer, perhaps my review is a bit biased. Keep that aside. We went as a large group for lunch. Mostly ordered non-spicy thali (full course meal served on a platter). Every one liked the food. The 'thali' was so whole some. Wide variety of curries and sides. I liked the roti as well. None of the items were too greasy. Staff were friendly. Facility was clean. We came here nearly after 10 years. Being a hard core cook my self, I am impressed that they are able to maintain the quality all these years. Nice work, 'Team Bhimas' Thank you all for a hearty lunch Will visit again. ”
“ Excellent South Indian vegetarian food. I love their Thali- both the spicy and non spicy versions are amazing and come with plenty of food items. Chapati with a kurma, rice with sambar, rasam and a spicy kuzhambu or More kuzhambu. They have a kootu, sabji, dal, papads, yogurt and pickles. Portion size is good and service was prompt. Will definitely try to sample other dishes next time. It really gets crowded on weekends ”
“ Food and Service was very good. We ordered the Onam Sadhyay special, and all dishes were very good and flavorful. We have tried their regular thali and rava masala dosa, too. Rava masala dosa was oily, but the thali is awesome. ”
“ We visited Tirupthi Bhimas for a vegetarian meal (sadhya/thali) during Malayalam / Tamil new year. The food was great. The waiters made sure we were attended to properly and were always asking what else we needed. The ambience was similar to what we typically see during a South Indian wedding, so it brought back good memories. I will be back. The total cost was $23 per person for unlimited food, which was great. ”
“ Veg/vegan reviewer: We really liked the Molgopadi dosa and the spicy/non-spicy thali. Oh note, the Molagopadi dosa is spicy but the Andhra Kara Dosa is really very spicy(I do not recommend this one). The buttermilk is very flavorful as well. Loved it. Tip: They had a gooseberry pickle on the table and we really liked it as well. This place is not for the ambience, nothing wrong with it though. It's just a quick, tasty and affordable eatery : ) ”
